Privacy at Cosmic Code
Your birth details are personal. This page explains what is used, why it is needed, and where outside service providers are involved.

Information we use
We use account details, birth name, birth date, birth time, birth location, optional daily numbers, mood check-ins, focus areas, notes, goals, and subscription information to provide your account and personalized identity profiles and guidance.
How profiles and guidance are created
Birth locations may be processed through mapping and timezone services so we can calculate coordinates and local time correctly. Calculated astrology and numerology placements, identity-archetype signals, personal cycles, and voluntary pattern entries may be processed by an AI service to create personalized written interpretations. We minimize the personal information included in AI requests.
Reflective frameworks
Astrology, numerology, identity archetypes, and generated guidance are used as reflective frameworks for self-understanding and entertainment. They are not psychological testing, medical assessment, diagnosis, or factual prediction.
Service providers
Cosmic Code relies on hosting, database, authentication, mapping, timezone, astrology, AI, analytics, and payment providers. These providers process information only to deliver the relevant service. Payments are handled by Stripe; Cosmic Code does not store complete card numbers.
Storage and control
Profile and guidance history remain associated with your account so you can return to them. You can update your profile and notification preferences in Settings and download a JSON copy of your account data from Settings > Security. Self-service account deletion is still being prepared; until it is available, do not enter information you are uncomfortable storing.
Analytics
We record first-party product events such as landing-page visits, profile starts and completions, methodology views, report views, checkout starts, and campaign or creative identifiers included in advertising links. For advertising measurement, we may share privacy-conscious identifiers such as a normalized, one-way hashed email, subscription status, transaction value, and non-card transaction identifiers with advertising measurement providers. These events help us understand whether the experience is working and do not include payment-card details.
Important limits
No internet service can promise absolute security. We use authentication, encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable service providers, and we continue to improve our safeguards as the product evolves.
